The Effects of Olive Oil on Breast Cancer

Ana Ripoll of Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Pedro Barato, President of Organizacion Interprofessional del Aceite de Oliva Espanol, signed an agreement to study how the effects of olive oil can help prevent and fight against breast cancer. The study will begin this year and will last up to five years. So far up until now researchers have found that the intake of olive oil in moderate amounts slows down the spreading of breast cancer.
